WHY JOIN THE CHAMBER?

We are dedicated to promoting Hamburg as an excellent place to do business.  Not only do we sponsor a wide variety of business and community events, but we also act as your advocate and represent with local, regional, and state government.  By becoming one of our members, your business or organization can take advantage of the promotional, educational, and networking opportunities that we provide. 


Benefits to Chamber Members

 

PROMOTION: Free listing and website link from the Chamber/City website (www.hamburgark.com), Web Promotion and Marketing, The Chamber only gives referrals and online listings to members.

·         ASSISTANCE: The Chamber is a valuable resource for local businesses – whether it is networking opportunities, advertising, seminars, we can help you grow your business and operate it more efficiently.

·         REPRESENTATION: The Chamber represents the interest of business to government by speaking out on local, regional, and state issues impacting our business community and local economy.

·         COMMUNITY: The Chamber is the primary sponsor of many community events including the World Famous Armadillo Festival, Hamburg Holidays, Man, Woman and Business of the Year, and Paint the Town Purple. By joining the Chamber, your business becomes associated with each of these special events.

·        NETWORKING: Get to know the other members and City Staff at events held by the Chamber.

DUES STRUCTURE

Dues are for a calendar year; memberships paid in 2008 are good through 2009.  Renewal will be due each year in January.

Retail/Service Business: $100.00 per year…with five employees or fewer.  For each additional employee, add $5.00.  Two part-time employees count as one. 

Non-Profit: $75.00 per year

Financial Institutions: Based on Deposits as of January of current year:

            15 Million or less………………………..$500 annually

            15-20 Million…………………………….$750 annually

Professionals: Includes physicians, dentists, C.P.A. Firms, lawyers etc; $100.00 for first professional, $50 for each additional professional in the office.    

Industries/Utilities: Negotiable

Individuals: Seniors Citizens, $25.00 annually, Regulars, $50.00 annually.

Dues are payable in advance and are continuous unless cancelled in writing in advance of due date.  Dues are deductible from federal income tax as a business expense.
